Pray for the Holt family in Chile

Please be praying for the Holt family. Chile just experienced an 8.8 earthquake. I just read on facebook that everyone is ok at the Holt household but they have to wait till they can see how much damage was done. Pray for the country of Chile during this time. The phone lines are down and there is no electricity. Keep everyone in your prayers during this time. We will let you know as soon as we know anything else.

The good the bad and the ugly

Well today we had a great day at Omega. We had The day of the Photo. Basically we encouraged people to bring their friends and family and to have a picture taken they will be able to pick their printed pics up next Sunday. We had 130 in attendance and 12 people made professions of faith. God is so good. While all of this was happening, the enemy was trying to work overtime.

Last night Jeremy Hall was looking over everything to make sure that everything was ready for today. While he was doing that someone came to the church and stole his motorcycle. This was about a $1500 loss.

Today, somewhere Andria’s Computer was stolen. It was at church and someone came in and sneaked it out. It was a Mac computer so it wasn’t cheap. The biggest problem was that all of her work was on it for the choir from last year as well as this year. This was about a $1300 loss.

Pray that God will provide for these losses and the truth is that no matter what happens we will praise him in the storm. God has been so good to us and 12 people accepting Christ in services today is worth every penny it could cost.

I preached this morning on making memories and the most important memory you could make was to accept Christ as your savior. All I can say is that the mission was accomplished, today a memory was created that will never be forgotten. Tomorrow I travel to the states. I am praying that we will be able to bring her back a computer when I come back. Thanks for praying and for staying up to date.
